Owning your site and domain, and leaving

You own your site. That's the point of the whole setup.

On a paid build

You own the domain, the files and the content from day one. The words and photos too. Take the files and host them anywhere, or host with me.

On a $0-down build

You own the domain from day one. The site files are yours after the 12 months, or any time you pay the rest of the build.

If you leave

  • Hosting goes month to month. Cancel any time.
  • Monthly hours on a paid build go month to month too.
  • On a $0-down build, the plan runs for its 12-month term.

Since the domain is yours, you can point it at a new host whenever you like. Whoever looks after the site next starts with the files instead of from scratch.

Your domain, in your name

Whoever builds your site, the domain should be registered in your name, on an account you can log into. More in email and domain basics.
